2020 19 Crimes Cali Rose
19 Crimes is a brand that was built on authentic stories of rebellion, defiance, loyalty and perseverance. In 1788, transportation to Australia from the UK became the punishment of choice. If you broke any one of the 19 Crimes, you sailed on a harrowing journey where months later your fate awaited. Times were tough but these individuals were tougher and they overcame adversity and insurmountable odds.
Nose: Ripe strawberry notes along with delicate floral, rose petal aromas.
Palate: Fruit-forward notes of fresh raspberry, strawberry and red cherry. Pleasant mouth-feel with balanced acidity and sweetness.
2018 Stags' Leap Winery Napa Valley Petite Sirah
The 2018 Petite Sirah exudes strong notes of blackberry, blueberry and black cherry fruits interwoven with more savory notes of black pepper and cocoa power. On the palate, juicy flavors of creamy cassis, macerated blackberry, cherry kirsch, black licorice, and peppery plum envelope the rich, saturated mouthfeel. This wine is smooth and silky with velvety tannins and a generous lengthy finish, encouraging you to enjoy it now, but has the depth and complexity to age for many years to come.
2019 Beringer Bros Rye Barrel Red
Beringer’s latest offering pays tribute to the winery’s very beginning 150 years ago, brothers Jacob and Frederick Beringer left Germany to found a winery and distillery in Napa. Reusing their spirit barrels to age wine just seemed like good financial sense, but they quickly discovered it added a whole new level of richness and complexity to their wine. The 2019 is bursting with ripe strawberry, caramel and vanilla with Rye Whiskey character coming through on notes of coriander, caraway, lavender, and bergamot. Full bodied with silky tannins and a rich, lingering finish.
2018 Sledgehammer Forged Red Wine
The Sledgehammer Forged Red blend hits the mark with hammer(Sledge)skill. Bright, inviting aromas of boysenberry, cherry, cola and spice lead to a lush palate where these juicy fruit flavors ring true. Sweet oak flavors and spicy notes of white pepper and clove add complexity and richness in the wine. The Forged Red blend is incredibly smooth with a full-bodied mouthfeel and wildly flavorful. This powerful yet silky wine is very easy to drink and sure to be a hit with the crowd.
